Sri Reddy’s fight against the alleged casting couch in Tollywood has become a talk of the nation. She recently targeted Power Star
Pawan Kalyan after his army of fans trolled her and her fellow artistes who were supporting her movement.“A man like Pawan Kalyan who has married three times and has no respect for women is now giving suggestions. I once called him Anna (brother), I take that back. From now on, no woman will call him as Anna. Pawan Kalyan ma*****od,” Sri Reddy said furiously, before making an abusive gesture towards the television cameras.
The gesture and the abusive words sent shock waves across the Telugu states. It did not go well with the fans as well as for the stars in the industry.
Nithiin, who is a huge Pawan Kalyan fan and has often taken his references in his movies, took to Twitter to warn the actress indirectly. "For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction...just wait for it....its coming!!! (sic),” he tweeted.
Actor
Varun Tej, who is also a nephew of Power Star, tweeted a poster, which again seemed like an indirect dig at Sri Reddy. The statement on the poster read, "Don't bother with hypocrites or judgemental people who criticise you and put you down. They are too shallow to recognise their own weaknesses. It's easier for them to try to make others feel bad than to look in the mirror at their own pathetic behaviour. (sic)"
